Biosketch

Ramin J. Espandar, MD, is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in pediatric orthopaedics, pediatric and adolescent sports medicine, and foot and ankle surgery. He received his medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, where he also completed his orthopaedic surgery residency. He subsequently joined the faculty at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, where he advanced from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor.

Dr. Espandar completed two years of fellowship training in pediatric orthopaedics at Nemours Children鈥檚 Health, followed by a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at 91探花 University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine, where he specializes in the care of children and adolescents with orthopaedic and sports-related conditions.

Throughout his career, Dr. Espandar has maintained a strong commitment to patient care, medical student and resident education, research, and international collaboration. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and serves as a reviewer for several orthopaedic journals. His clinical and academic interests include pediatric orthopaedics, pediatric and adolescent sports medicine, foot and ankle surgery, medical education, and clinical research.
